Dale Mcfee Chief of Police - Edmonton

Since being sworn in on February 1st, 2019 Dale McFee has been through a whirlwind.  As the Pandemic shut things down Dale notes that the requirement of the Edmonton Police Services didn't change too much but actually better revealed more clearly the issues that the city already has and needed to be addressed.   Equal to crime the focus on the social aspect of the city is a major area ripe for some serious focus.  Managing the the population of homeless, drug addictions, and troubled youth needs our attention.   On a more positive note Dale Talks about some incredible advances in technology and partnerships which some are the first of their kind in Canada.  Rapid DNA Testing, Rapid Firearm Identification and Tech Incubator programs are just some of the many opportunities the Edmonton Police are taking advantage of an utilizing to make the city not just safe but clean and respected.
