Meet the Director of Women's Entrepreneurship and Indigenous Relations Advisory Circle member at ATB Financial, Shannon Pestun. Shannon’s commitment to advocating for women’s economic empowerment has been widely recognized even by the Government of Canada’s Women’s Entrepreneurship Expert Panel where she advises on a range of issues, including identifying and providing options to solve gaps in services and supports available to women entrepreneurs in Canada. Most recently, Shannon joined the Advisory Board for Women’s Entrepreneurship Day Organization (WED) in Canada. So why is there such a need for such initiatives?
